Movie Adaptations of Books Certain books have been either adapted into movies or televison series. Some of the books I have read were only brought to my attention due to them being either a movie or series first. One specific book series that I decided to read before the show is completed is the Silo Trilogy by Hugh Howey. Book Covers Growing up we were all taught the expression "don't judge a book by its cover".
